Common issues
- Camera scan unavailable — Scan text is optional. If permission is denied, use Paste team or Add manually, or enable camera access in iOS Settings → TempoDex.
- OCR needs a real iPhone — Live text scanning requires a physical device with a supported camera. Simulators and some iPad configurations may not support OCR.
- Sprites not loading — Sprites download from PokeAPI and Pokémon Showdown URLs. Check your network connection and try again. Cached sprites may still appear offline.
- Reset local data — Clear saved analyses from Settings → Data → Clear history. To remove saved teams, delete them in the Teams tab. Deleting the app removes all local TempoDex data unless restored from an iOS backup.
- No account — TempoDex does not use login. There is no cloud sync or account deletion flow.
